New Music: K. Michelle - Time

Time is precious and K. Michelle highlights just that in her new single ‘Time’.

‘Time’ is the fourth single from the album and follows behind ‘Ain't You’, ‘Mindful’, and the first single ‘Not A Little Bit’ released in January.

K. Michelle plans on showing her musical diversity with her new album ‘More Issues Than Vogue’, the album will be compiled of tracks ranging from country, dance and urban music.

In an interview with Billboard, K. Michelle revealed that she did not want to have an “urban” album and wanted to take on different sounds.

“I want to be able to sing what I want, if I want to be able to sing country, I want to be able to show that. I want to be able to sing ballads that touch the world and not just one demographic. I'm just not going to be told that because I'm black, I have to do this anymore.”

‘More Issues Than Vogue’ eyes a March 25th release via Atlantic Records.

New Music: K. Michelle - Not A Little Bit

It's been a minute, (or two) since K. Michelle's last track, so it's good to hear new music from the singer. The ‘Can't Raise a Man’ singer has been busy in the studio working on her third album, (still untitled), with singer-songwriter Sevyn Streeter and T-Pain.

The piano led single, ‘Not A Little Bit’ sees K. Michelle singing about moving on from a break-up, and actually being over it. The new record may just be the anthem for "moving on after a break-up this year."

‘Not A Little Bit’ is an honest and solid piece of work from K. Michelle, that will appear on her new album. Listen to the song below.

New Music: Rick Ross - If They Knew ft. K. Michelle

The biggest bawse - Rick Ross, calls on a fellow big bawse Timbaland to help produce a story-telling track ‘If They Knew’ featuring K. Michelle.

‘If They Knew’ follows up from Rick Ross' ‘Keep Doin That (Rich Bitch)’ off his new solo LP, ‘Hood Billionaire’ out November 24 and will be Rozay's second album released this year, with ‘Mastermind’ having been released in March.

Not many people can pull off the "two albums in one year" stint, so I do wonder what Rick Ross has up his sleeve to make this one more standout-ish from ‘Mastermind’, probably nothing if I'm honest.

The full tracklisting to Rick Ross' ‘Hood Billionaire’ is further below, but before that ride out to his new K. Michelle assisted track ‘If They Knew’.

‘Hood Billionaire’ album tracklisting:

K. Michelle Unveils ‘AWBAH’ Album Title and Release Date in New Album Trailer

K. Michelle is gearing up for the release of her sophomore album ‘AWBAH’, the follow-up to her #1 selling album ‘Rebellious Soul’.

Already having released the lead single ‘Love 'Em All’, a pop/rock ballad off the new album, K. Michelle delivers the album trailer - where she unveils the abbreviation of ‘AWBAH’ as well as the release date, after teasing fans for so long.

K. Michelle is seen in the 2-minute clip wearing a lace gown walking with her signature red hair, walking around what seems to be mansion with people who she approaches, all turning their backs on her. As she walks down the stairs of the house - projected on the walls are scenes of her in ‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’ - where she was a regular cast member. Before the trailer comes to an end we see K. Michelle as she walks out of the mansion into an all white Rolls Royce, where she unveils the album title - ‘Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?’.

‘Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?’ is set to hit the shelves on December 9 in the States, with the UK release date still unknown.

Last week I was lucky enough to have a chat with K. Michelle whilst she was in London doing promo rounds for ‘AWBAH’, for an exclusive interview. It is definitely an interesting interview and I cannot wait to share it with you all in the coming weeks.

K. Michelle's new reality show ‘K. Michelle: My Life’ debuts on VH1 - Monday, 3rd November. Check the official album trailer for ‘AWBAH’ below. Are you excited for this new album?

New Music: K. Michelle - Love 'Em All

K. Michelle is back and with a new sound. Switching things up from the R&B that we know of her to do so well, K. Michelle gives us an unexpected pop-rock ballad - proving that she can kill any musical genre.

‘Love 'Em All’ is the first single from her sophomore album ‘AWBAH’ which she hasn't yet unveiled what the acronym stands for, but fans have been making their guesses with ‘A Woman With a Burning Heart’, ‘A World Bidding After Hearts’ and ‘A Woman Bidding At Heart’ after K. Michelle dropped a teaser of the title on her Instagram page.

A year after the release of her #1 selling album ‘Rebellious Soul’, K. Michelle has announced that her new album will feature Eric Hudson, Pop & Oak, Timothy Bloom and a surprise country artist.

Her second single ‘Maybe I Should Call’ will follow-up from ‘Love 'Em All’ and will be released in the next two weeks. K. Michelle stays breaking hearts listen to her sing about it in new record ‘Love 'Em All’ below out on iTunes.

New Video: K. Michelle - Can't Raise a Man

Off her #1 selling R&B album - singer and reality TV star K. Michelle has debuted the video to her second single ‘Can't Raise a Man’. The new video portrays exactly the lyrics to the song, where K. Michelle sings on the hook of the song:

"You can't raise a man,
He's already grown, what you gon do?
You wondering why he acts like a boy?
It's 'cos he wasn't raised right before you.

Girl, you ain't never gon' change nobody
If he don't wanna, you can't make nobody
You can't raise a man..."

In the video to ‘Can't Raise a Man’, we see three different relationship scenarios that occurs in our everyday lives - a man physically abusing his wife, a man cheating on his wife, and another man who is using drugs.

‘Can't Raise a Man’ gained so much more buzz after the song premiered on the season finale of Love and Hip Hop: New York, of where K. Michelle was a cast member. K. Michelle didn't appear often on this seasons' LHHNY and neither attended the reunion show, but the singer will be appearing in her own reality show out this year on VH1.

Earlier this week - K. Michelle took to the Wendy's Williams stage on her daytime TV show with her single ‘V.S.O.P.’.

The reality TV star has been singing all over the city of New York recently - in preparations to her debut album release. And has even found herself a new love - Lance Stephenson, who plays for Indiana Pacers NBA team.

Despite Wendy Williams' previous comments and beef towards the Love and Hip Hop star - she let K. Michelle do what she does best on her stage and even seemed to have enjoyed her performance. Smiles all round for the pair.

K. Michelle also gave fans a sampler to what they can expect from her new album ‘Rebellious Soul’ - before it hits the shelves on August 13. The album sampler features five songs from the album ‘Can't Raise A Man’, ‘Damn’, ‘Hate on Her’, ‘I Don't Like Me’ and ‘When I Get A Man’.
