Krept & Konan Cover ‘Mo Money Mo Problems’ on 1Xtra Live Lounge

It's not easy to cover a classic hit single, and win people over with your own version. But London rap duo Krept & Konan did just that.

Earlier today, Krept & Konan hit up BBC Radio 1Xtra for their live lounge performance. The duo performed their brand new single ‘Freak of The Week’ (currently at #4 in the official midweek chart), as well as a cover of The Notorious B.I.G's ‘Mo Money Mo Problems’ featuring Puffy & Mase, that left people excited for their debut project.

Sounding amazing on the vocals is singer ShezAr who joined Krept & Konan to perform ‘Mo Money Mo Problems’ as she sang the catchy hook with her own spin to it. The real MVP of this cover though, is Krept who delivered with a Biggie flow in his verse and killed it.

Their debut LP ‘The Long Way Home’ is out on Sunday, 5th July and features guest appearances from Rick Ross, Emeli Sandé, Ed Sheeran, YG, Wiz Khalifa, Skepta, Rebecca Garton and Jeremih who features on their ‘Freak of The Week’ single, out now.

Radio/DJ pioneer DJ Edu even gives her an exclusive shout out when she went to visit him on BBC Radio 1Xtra during her trip to London earlier this year.

Speaking on the inspiration behind her music - Seyi Shay mentioned that she likes making people smile, feeling good, brave, invincible and that she's inspired by peoples emotions. Seyi Shay also talks about how God is the source of her strength and working with some of the biggest artists to date - including Beyoncé, Wale and many more.

Sasha Keable: Unveils Debut Headline Show Mini-Documentary

Disturbing London has one talented chick on their hands, and I am pissed that I missed this show earlier this month.

Sasha Keable recenly performed her sold-out debut live show in Dalston and has unveiled a short documentary of the days events.

Premiering exclusively via Hunger Magazine, the documentary showcases moments from her intimate live performance, as well as giving the Disturbing London team, including managing director Dumi Oburota, Tinie Tempah and G Frsh, a chance to share their views on the hotly tipped female vocalist.

(I'm a bit late uploading this post, so forgive me!)

For many of us, it took us a while to actually understand the lyrics and depth of Beyoncé's self-titled visual album. Luckily enough for us - Beyoncé breaks it all down in a self-titled five part docu-series online to see how she came up with the album, and why she decided to sing about certain things she sang about.

In the short clip series - we can see a very comfortable and relaxed Beyoncé talk about the ‘Beyoncé’ album. It all actually makes sense now - because it took me a while to see what was so great about this album like everyone was saying it was, I can definitely enjoy Beyoncé's visual album a whole lot more now.

Beyoncé comes out of her comfort zone not caring about what the world has to say about her or what may come her way; this album is titled ‘Beyoncé’ because it is Beyoncé in a CD. She lets loose - talking about sex, imperfection, how people perceive music these days, recording her songs (which we get to see), and shooting the 17 videos with the respected producers and directors in different locations of the world. Even how she came about to make this album and why she decided to release all the 14 songs and 17 videos all in one day!

WOW! You've definitely got to respect her work ethic.. She puts in the WORK!

Beyoncé's Full Interview For "Oprah's Next Chapter"

Beyoncé has come so far since her days in 'Girl Time' and 'Destiny's Child'. Now as a solo artist, a wife, mother and everything else, Beyoncé sits down with the legendary talk show host Oprah Winfrey for this interview for "Oprah's Next Chapter" on Oprah's channel 'OWN' just minutes before Beyoncé premiered her documentary 'Life is but a Dream' for the HBO Channel.

In this one off interview, Beyoncé speaks openly on many things including her Super Bowl performance, Kelly Rowland, recording her documentary, her father - Matthew Knowles, on how motherhood changed her life, and even how her husband rapper - Jay Z has impacted her life and vice versa.

It's definitely good seeing Beyoncé still do what she loves, but yet take on motherhood and balance her whole life out.

I loved every minute of this interview, Beyoncé laughs, answer all the questions modestly, she really just keeps it 100. It's nice to see her chilled like this. Watch the exclusive interview below if you haven't already.

Trailer: Beyoncé's HBO Documentary

Baddie Bey - the King, the Queen, the BADDEST in the game.. Whatever you wanna call her Beyoncé is about to reveal herself in a new light.

Working with HBO on this new documentary which premieres in the States on the 16th February in the coming year - 2013. The trailer to her new documentary has been unveiled, Beyoncé is also reportedly the exec-producer of her documentary.

And from what I can see - she takes us on a journey of her pregnancy (I believe) and gets up close and personal with us viewers.. But not revealing too much.

I'm excited to see this documentary, I just love Beyoncé!
