New Music: Bridget Kelly - Act Like That ft. Mack Wilds

Today, August 5th marks the release of Bridget Kelly's long-awaited EP ‘Summer of 17’, accompanying the release is her brand new track ‘Act Like That’ featuring Mack Wilds.

‘Summer of 17’ comes shortly after Bridget Kelly's departure from Roc Nation after six years of being with the label, and is her first independent project.

New Video: 2face Idibia - Let Somebody Love You ft. Bridget Kelly

Is it me, or does 2face release an album every year now?!

Pioneer in the game 2face Idibia recently released the lead single ‘Let Somebody Love You’ off his new album - ‘Away and Beyond: The Ascension’.

Shot in Lagos, Nigeria and directed by Luke Briggins a couple months back on Bridget's recent visit to the country, the video captures the lyrics to the song exceptionally well and brings together two different worlds.

The collaboration comes just before the release of 2face's sixth album ‘The Ascension’ out this Summer, with guest features including Dammy Krane, Vector, Iceberg Slim, Fally Pupa and more.

2face spoke on ‘Let Somebody Love You’ stating "the idea for the song comes from people who act like they can do without the love and support of other people. The truth, whether we accept it or not, is that everybody needs somebody."

As they make room for more love 2face and Bridget Kelly's undeniable chemistry not only makes you fall in love with the song and video, but with them.

"Let somebody love you, let somebody fill that space in your heart!"

Bridget Kelly: Announces Debut London Show @ The Jazz Cafe, 27th January 2014!

London will finally get to experience the remarkable voice of the sensational — Bridget Kelly. Performing live at her very first headlined show in London, Kelly will take to the stage at London's renowned Jazz Café this January. 

Just before we wrapped up 2013, the songstress who is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation released her second EP ‘Cut to… Bridget Kelly’ in December, and included her smash hit single ‘Special Delivery’; as well as never before heard tracks. 

Kelly has a small but appreciative fan base here in the UK, and has received an uproar amount of love after she featured on her former label mate – London based rapper – K Kokes' single ‘My Time’.

On the night Bridget Kelly will perform with a full live band. No word on if there'll be any opening acts as of yet, but Kelly alone will put on a show stopping performance. She'll perform songs off her brand new EP, and also hopefully some unreleased music from her forthcoming debut album.

Roc Nation is in the building! UK's K Koke teams up with his labelmate Bridget Kelly all the way from the States for "My Time".

K Koke is clearly one of the best in the UK and Bridget Kelly is also one of the best R&B singers out right now - so it's only right that they teamed up on a song together. And plus they're on the same record label! Need I say more? 

"My Time" is an inspiring song as K Koke reflects on his life from where he was to where he is now - with a catchy and soulful hook from Ms. Kelly as she sings:

Luke James is currently in London, touring with Baddie Bey on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Europe as an opening act. And whilst he's over here touring, Bridget Kelly remixed his brand new single 'I.O.U.' adding her own soulful vocals to the single. Kelly does a phenomenal job on this remix, I actually want to hear them collaborate on an official track. That will be amazing.

Bridget Kelly - one of the best voices to grace the new generation has teamed up with Kendrick Lamar, for this new song they call 'Street Dreamin'.

Kelly and Lamar bring an old skool sound to this new song which will appear on Funkmaster Flex's forthcoming mixtape Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself? The beat of the song is a 90s song by Tupac titled 'Got My Mind Made Up'.

Bridget Kelly who dreams of a sweeter life in this song, is readying the release of her debut album which will hit the shelves later on this year.

Bridget Kelly who delivered one of my favourite EP's of 2011 - Every Girl has dropped the remix to the Ne-Yo penned song 'In The Morning' featuring MMG rapper - Meek Mill.

In this remix, Meek raps showing off a side to him that we don't usually see as often - a softer side. Meek Mill also goes on to rap about a wild night he had that involved drinking and a whole lot of sex... But let's HER know that she's still the ONE!
