2face Idibia & Wizkid Announced as 2014 Hennessy Artistry Headliners [+ BTS Campaign Video]

Another year, another amazing line-up for the Hennessy Artistry, and this time around - it's a duo.

This year Hennessy Artistry have announced a musical treat for fans that they promise to be one to remember. Teaming up for their first song ever on an incredible project is 2face Idibia and Wizkid. The announcement came earlier this week and has had social media platforms and blogs anticipated for the collaboration. 

Since the Hennessy Artistry was announced in 2007, the likes of Tiwa Savage, Banky W, MI, D'Banj and legend Shina Peters have all headlined, and this year is looking like their biggest one yet. The best one yet? We'll have to wait and see, but my senses are telling me it's going to be a good one.

Speaking on the project, 2face said "Great things!! Eau di vie... We getting it this year!". Whilst Wizkid took to his Instagram account to share his excitement and joy to be finally working with the legend that is 2face saying: "This year's Hennessy Artistry is going to be massive and I am really privileged to be working with legend, 2face Idibia... I can't wait to get into the studio with him!!! Watch this space!"

It was smiles all round for 2face Idibia and Wizkid who seemed to have had a good time recording the song and shooting the official campaign photos at the photo shoot (footage seen below). Both looking dapper in their suits, we can only be patient and wait for what the duo have cooked up for us.

New Video: 2face Idibia - Let Somebody Love You ft. Bridget Kelly

Is it me, or does 2face release an album every year now?!

Pioneer in the game 2face Idibia recently released the lead single ‘Let Somebody Love You’ off his new album - ‘Away and Beyond: The Ascension’.

Shot in Lagos, Nigeria and directed by Luke Briggins a couple months back on Bridget's recent visit to the country, the video captures the lyrics to the song exceptionally well and brings together two different worlds.

The collaboration comes just before the release of 2face's sixth album ‘The Ascension’ out this Summer, with guest features including Dammy Krane, Vector, Iceberg Slim, Fally Pupa and more.

2face spoke on ‘Let Somebody Love You’ stating "the idea for the song comes from people who act like they can do without the love and support of other people. The truth, whether we accept it or not, is that everybody needs somebody."

As they make room for more love 2face and Bridget Kelly's undeniable chemistry not only makes you fall in love with the song and video, but with them.

"Let somebody love you, let somebody fill that space in your heart!"

Toolz Interviews 2face, Davido, Iyanya and More on Season 2 of ‘The Juice’

And season two of ‘The Juice’ is back in full effect and we're loving it.

Just over three weeks ago - Ndani TV premiered the new season of ‘The Juice’ on a whole new and bigger platform - from YouTube to the TV screen.

Toolz is back on the couch with the hottest celebs across Africa and has already interviewed 2face, Davido and Iyanya for the new season of ‘The Juice’. And as always, they're not holding back to spilling the deets on certain things, and rumours that have been lingering around.

Whilst adding in some new elements to the show including ‘Spot On!’ where Toolz opens up the show by interviewing an up and coming artist for about 5 minutes before they take to the stage to perform and close the show with a medley or their own song. So far Patoranking, Tekno and Di'Ja have all taken to the stage to sing - and so far so good.

2face Idibia Set to Headline at London's 'The Forum' + New Video: ‘Dance In The Rain’

The legend that he is 2face Idibia will take to the stage at London's 'The Forum' for a one off headlined show on Saturday, 3rd May. 

Joining him on stage will be Sound Sultan, Dammy Krane, May7ven, Moelogo, Bibe Squad, Zafi B, Qpidfyne, Chay Nelle and Ada Snoop who will all perform their hit songs and wow the crowd before 2face takes over to lift the roof. Don't miss out on an exciting night of great music. The lyrics to this song are beautiful. As much as we enjoy watching the video to a new single, listening to the lyrics are just as important to understand the visuals of the video. 

2face Idibia delivers the official video to ‘Rainbow’ the remix featuring American artist - T-Pain. The duo make sweet music together, a song that is effortlessly put together. The video to ‘Rainbow’ was shot in the States and directed by BLA G.

New Music: Chingy - Falling (Remix) ft. 2Face & May7ven

Atlanta rapper Chingy was one of the hottest rappers of his era, when he first came out with his bangers like ‘Right Thurr’, ‘One Call Away’, ‘Pullin Me Back’ and ‘Holidae In’ to name a few.

Returning to the music landscape in 2013, Chingy is back with a brand new single, the remix to his song ‘Falling’ featuring Afrobeat artist - veteran, 2Face Ibidia, and UK based Afrobeat artist May7ven.

Despite the fact that Chingy has not been on the scene for a while, I'd expect for his return to be a glorious one - but instead he fell off with this track... Literally! (Pun intended).

‘Falling’ was produced by Triple O Productions and is to be released on iTunes and all other digital stores shortly. 2013 will see the release of Chingy's EP ‘Chingology’ and he'll embark on both a UK- wide and Nigerian tour in November.

This is one of the sweetest videos ever! 2Face Idibia expresses his love for his beautiful wife Annie Idibia in this new video "Rainbow". 2Face shows us scenes from his traditional wedding in Nigeria, as well as from his white wedding in Dubai.

2Face and Annie are more than in love with each other, love their chemistry. And happy married life! God bless this union!

Africa's #1 artist 2face Idibia's single "Rainbow" has officially got a remix to it, featuring one of America's hottest artists - T-Pain. 

The original version of "Rainbow" appears on 2face's "Away and Beyond" album which he released in early 2012. 2face is currently nominated for a BET Award for Best International Act Africa. Find out exactly why he's nominated with this lovely remix to "Rainbow".

New Video: 2Face - Omo No Dulling ft. Dammy Krane & Rocksteady

Veteran 2Face Idibia was yesterday announced as one of the nominees for this years BET Awards as part of the "Best International Act: Africa", alongside Ice Prince, R2bees and more.

Now the legend in the game has premiered his new video to "Omo No Dulling" via his YouTube Iroking page earlier on today, which features two of HyperTek records very own - Dammy Krane and Rocksteady.

This is an all HyperTek records collaboration which is off 2Face's most recent album "Away & Beyond" which he released in early 2012. "Omo No Dulling" was directed by the man Sesan.

Off his 2012 album 'Away & Beyond', 2Face Idibia has premiered the video to 'Dance Floor'. The fun video was shot in South Africa and directed by Godfather Productions.
