New Music: YFS and 2Kriss - ‘Baddo’ + ‘Tonto’

After a brief hiatus from the game following their 2012 single ‘Clique’, 2Kriss and YFS - the crowned Princes of Afrobeats - are back with two massive new collaborative singles ‘Baddo’ and ‘Tonto’ that will blow you away!

Both produced by 2Kriss, ‘Baddo’ is a gloriously bass-heavy tune with quickfire witty lyrics and infectious flows from 2Kriss and YFS, backed by thumping drums and synthy grand piano arrangements while ‘Tonto’ as you will have guessed is a playful and light-hearted ode to Nigerian Superstar actress Tonto Dikeh.

All aged between 18 and 21, Moses and Raphael, who together are 2Kriss and Esdee and Havoc, who make up YFS, have both achieved large strides in their own rights within AfroPop and Afrobeats music circles and at such young ages too.

Having produced for the likes of Iyanya, Olamide and EMI recording artist Amplify Dot and collaborated with Wizkid and Ice Prince among others, 2Kriss continue to remain one of the most sought after production names across Nigeria and the UK.

YFS on the other hand have already been co-signed by several industry heavyweights including Iyanya, Skales and Ice Prince to mention a few while also working with the likes of Wizkid and Maleek Berry, having supported Wizkid on his UK tour last year.

With the explosive A-side ‘Baddo’ already being requested by club and radio DJs and with Tonto Dikeh herself already a professed massive fan of bonus B-Side ‘Tonto’ already, 2Kriss and YFS are about to have a sensational next few months and it all starts now - listen to ‘Baddo’ and ‘Tonto’ below!

We Plug Good Music Presents... 'One Mic UK Afrobeats Special'

Just in time to kick off the Summer Holidays - the good people over at We Plug Good Music have put together this amazing Afrobeats show with a great lineup.

Eight of the best promising rising acts in the UK will all perform on Sunday, 14 July with a live band on one stage. Atumpan, Moelogo, Honey B, Weray Ent, Dizzy, Vibe Squad, 2Kriss and Adey will all be performing their hit singles as well as unreleased material for fans and supporters. 

The show will be hosted by none other than Afrobeats pioneer DJ Abrantee of Choice FM and supporters and Afrobeat lovers from allover the UK will be in attendance. Peep more details and ticket info on the show below!

New Video: 2Kriss - No More Tuale ft. Olamide

London-based brothers Moses & Raphael Christopher who make up the duo 2Kriss have premiered their video to the single 'No More Tuale'. 2Kriss were previously signed to JJC's record label 'Big Boyz' alongside Lil Miss, Tipsy, Noni Zondi and more and now they're stepping into their own limelight and making major movements for themselves.

2Kriss feature Nigerian-based rapper Olamide for this hard-hitting song 'No More Tuale', where they all rap and sing about life before they were famous and living wealthier; as they wear the famous denim/ankara label - Bukki. Their self-directed video was shot in both London and Nigeria. 2Kriss are still yet to release their debut album, but their music is surely a fan favourite! 

'No More Tuale' features cameo appearances from: Lil Miss, Tipsy, Noni Zondi, Ab Fresh, DJ Unbeetable, Esdee and a whole lot more artists and familiar faces!

Introducing... Sheggzz + New Single 'All Na Swag'

Introducing to you all...

Sheggzz!! A young new exciting and versatile singer-songwriter-rapper with a mix of both Nigerian-British heritage.

Sheggzz is no stranger to some, his most famous for being a childhood star, staring in adverts for the Nido and Nestle as well as his recent interviews for 'VendrediTV' (a fast right media Afrobeat company - which he co-owns; his worked with the likes of Shank, Sneakbo, Ajebutter, Duncan Mighty and a few others). Not only that, but Sheggzz was also the face of a webisode series titled 'Road to the Wizkid tour' back in June of 2012 - prepping up to the Wizkid Starboy UK tour!

With always having an interest in music, Sheggzz has officially released his first single 'All Na Swag' which was produced by duo 2Kriss. This new catchy song shows his versatility in his music, being able to both rap and sing and enfuse Afrobeats as well as Urban Hip Hop all in one.

The 17-year-old will be premiering the video to 'All Na Swag' soon and will also be releasing his second single 'Replay' produced by EOD furthermore into the year. Listen to the new single from the rising star below

"Clique" by Kanye West, Big Sean of G.O.O.D. Music and rapper Jay Z is one of the most popular and biggest hip hop songs out right now.

With a brand new remix for our ears, upcoming young London based, Afrobeat artists Esdee, Havoc, Maniac, 2Kriss and Ur Fresh Rich of "YFS" (Young, Free & Single) have done their own spin on the Hit-Boy produced anthem.

Obviously they're not new faces in the UK Afrobeat scene, as they've hit the stage at big events held at the Hammersmith HMV Apollo, O2 Academy and others just to name a few.

It's EsDeeeeeeeeee!!!

The actual youngest bad on TV EsDee and youngest signed artist to Big Boyz Ent. has finally dropped the viral video to his single 'Young, Free & Single' featuring the other two bad guys on TV, 2Kriss. 

The official video will be out soon, hopefully sooner than later! 

After performing this hit single at the 'Wizkid Starboy Concert' in June in London, this song has been on everybody's lips - including mine, yes yes!

Naaaaarrrr!! This song is a tune!!!!!

Saw this video last week, cos I'm exclusive like that. But since then, I can't get it out of my head.
