Seyi Shay Puts On A Thrilling Star-Studded Unplugged Show in Lagos! [Photos]

‘Irawo’ crooner Seyi Shay keeps the momentum going, coming off the back of her ‘Murda’ single release and unveiling the official music video back in June.

Seyi Shay headlined ‘Seyi Shay Unplugged’ show in Lagos presented by Industry Nite & J-Management on Wednesday evening, and please believe she served and delivered a show like no other. Her band as well looked prim and proper! Mm, I'm loving Seyi Shay's team!

Putting on an intimate, yet energetic live band performance for the cheering audience - guests like D'Banj, Waje, Banky W, Olisa, Sasha P, Sound Sultan, Bez and more were all in attendance to support the currently trailblazing singer/performer, whilst Yemi Alade, Chidinma, Vector, Niyola, Patoranking, Shaydee, Boj, Young Greyc all graced the stage with DJ Spinall on the ones and twos and MC Jimmie hosting the show.

It must be Seyi Shay week and we're loving it! 

No official behind the scenes video footage out yet, but the behind the scenes photos take us on a journey of how it all went down on the day of Seyi Shay's video shoot to ‘Murda’.

The behind the scenes photos come a couple days after the videos release directed by Meji Alabi for JM Films and shows off the different scenes portrayed in the music video. And as much as we enjoy watching Seyi Shay's videos, it's good to see her and her team at work - showing us how all the magic is done!

Seyi Shay doesn't get enough credit for what she does!

Seyi Shay has released the brand new video for her latest single ‘Murda’ featuring Patoranking and Shaydee.

Keeping it fun and sexy throughout the video with her choreography, different hair looks, and outfits - Seyi Shay samples a lyric from Joni Mitchell's 1970 hit single ‘Big Yellow Taxi’.

Seyi Shay is bringing the heat this year with her singles and videos, it'll not be long before we see her dominating the charts and holding it down for the females across Nigeria and Africa. Whatever it is that her team are doing with, they shouldn't stop - they're doing a great job.

The new video directed by Meji Alabi for JM Films follows up from the single, released back in April. Watch the new video to ‘Murda’ with Seyi Shay, Patoranking and Shaydee - she is a natural in front of the camera. Born for this!

Coming off the back of it's release last year and pinned as a freestyle/unofficial single release, EME's Shaydee has premiered the video to ‘Won Gbo Mi’.

As we wait for the arrival of his official single and video, director Jassy Generation takes it to the streets for this rough around the edges, street music video shot in Lagos, Nigeria.

Their fellow EME label mates - Banky W and Niyola make cameo appearances in the video, among others.

‘Won Gbo Mi’ was produced by Starboy duo - Legundary Beatz, check out the dark visuals below.

Seyi Shay is showing us all the reasons for her not to be slept on this year, you just have to love this woman!

Earlier on in the year she dropped the video to he single ‘Ragga Ragga’, to then accompany that - she gave us an insight to who she truly is with a two-part mini-documentary series entitled ‘Who is Seyi Shay?’  (part 1, part 2)

Now just weeks later, the Nigerian-based Afrobeats superstar has followed-up to her single with ‘Murda’. Seyi Shay features Patoranking and Shaydee to her new track ‘Murda’.

Seyi Shay and Shaydee show off their vocal ability on the track, whilst Patoranking shows off his lyrical ability on the Dokta Frabz production. ‘Murda’ is a great way for us to end the first quarter of 2014. Enjoy and download for free today!

EME is proud to present the official tune of the season, ‘Ti E Nkan’ by the R&B crooner, Shaydee. ‘Ti E Nkan’ was produced by the platinum selling production duo, Da Beatfreakz.

Shaydee is seriously underrated because ‘Ti E Nkan’ is simply a beautiful song that I could see enter the charts in the UK, and his voice doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

This is the official second single by Shaydee and we are expected to hear more from the amazing singer and song writer.

Aaah! Music to my ears this is. Legendury Beatz are producers to be reckoned with! 

Wizkid and Shaydee team up for this relaxed dance-hall influenced riddim ‘Number One Lover’ off the Starboy album.

The song will automatically have you vibzing to the track the second the beat drops. Wizkid enlists EME label-mate Shaydee to feature on this two-stepping mellow reggae sweet track. Good music coming from the Starboy and EME camp.

Wizkid himself took it to his twitter account to say:

New Music: Shaydee & Yung6ix - You Don't Know (Credibility)

Shaydee blew people away with his amazing voice on the EME compilation album, and with his latest single "O'Poju". Now the AfroPop crooner has dropped a brand new song this time alongside rapper Yung6ix for this banger titled "You Don't Know (Credibility)". Shaydee once again proves he is here to stay with another hot song, produced by O'Tee Beatz.

The talented Shaydee of EME Records has debuted his first single 'O Poju' and it was worth the wait. Shaydee has featured on a number of songs before and after his signing with Banky W's record label EME, and is one of the best voices to come out of Nigeria recently.

Shaydee sings on top of this Sagzy production - keeping it sultry and sexy - above all, he keeps it real. EME releases a new video in honour of their #EMEWednesdays - this time it's a more touching video to their single "Change" off their compilation album. In this Clarence Peters' visual - both EME & Clarence Peters highlight the issues going on in Nigeria as well as singing about these issues as well. Showing footage from events that happened in the country this year - watch and be touched.

Introducing... SHAYDEE!!! 

One of the two latest signees in the EME camp. I've known Shaydee for a while now and every time I hear him sing, I still get goosebumps. Shaydee is definitely one to watch for 2013. 

Shaydee killed it on this single "Sun Mo Mi" (translated means: move closer to me), the 5th single off the EME compilation album "Empire Mates State of Mind" featuring other great tracks such as "Roll It", "Get Down Tonight" and "Baddest Boy".

This song is a banger - the EME family is great at doing that - creating hits!

With cameo appearances from three of the other members of EME - Wizkid, Niyola and DJ Xclusive and  other Afrobeat/Nigerian artists - Iyanya, Flowssick, Iceberg Slim and Slim T.

New Video: EME (Wizkid, Skales & Banky W) - Baddest Boy

Yes! EME have finally released the video their single 'Baddest Boy'; the official single off the compliation album from EME 'Empire Mates State of Mind'. The single features Wizkid, Skales and Banky W and special cameo appearances from DJ Xclusive and the two new EME signees Shaydee and the first lady Niyola (She's very pretty if I may add).
