‘#RateMePlz’ Showcase & Networking Event Relaunch, Hosted by Remel London

Back by popular demand, Remel London presents London's favourite showcase & networking event: The #RateMePlz Show!

Hosted by Remel London, the TV presenter calls on friends: Terri Walker (award winning soul singer), Clara Amfo (BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra) and Sian Anderson for the industry panel Q&A, making this the first #RateMePlz showcase with an all female industry panel Q&A, yes to girl power!

#RateMePlz is giving 20 young hopefuls the opportunity to kick start their career, and all they simply have to do is turn up, sign up and get rated.

#RateMePlz Open Mic Competition Rules 2015!

Turn up, sign up, get rated... 20 acts, 2 rounds, 1 winner!

Doors open: 7.30pm for the open mic sign up

20 open mic slots available - first come, first serve!!!

The 20 performers are split into 4 groups of 5

Round 1 - each performer is allocated 1 minutes to perform with either a backing track or as an acapella before the #RateMePlz sound goes!

The audience vote for one act per group to go through to the finals

Round 2 - the final 4 acts are allocated 2 minutes each to perform with either a backing track or as an acapella before the #RateMePlz sound goes!

The Final 4 acts are allocated 2 minutes each to perform with either a backing track or as an acapella before the #RateMePlz sound goes!

The audience will choose the #RateMePlz winner!

**Instrumentals must be clearly marked with the artist name and the track number on the CD**

It's been a whole lot of laughs for the past three weeks since Remel London launched her brand new online entertainment and lifestyle show ‘The Show Room’.

#RateMePlz End of Year Showcase & Networking Event, Hosted by Remel London

London's favourite urban youth showcase and networking event - #RateMePlz is back with a bang this December.

Hosted by founder - Remel London, the end of year showcase and networking event will see singers, songwriters, rappers, producers and more all under one roof to experience a night of music and entertainment at the Ultimate Networking Experience.

The night will include performances from #RateMePlz winners and industry showcase winner: Ms Banks, Ojerime, Elektric + GT Solo, Beverly Ely, Wilson. As well as special guest speakers: DJ Cameo (of BBC Radio 1Xtra) and DJ Shortee Blitz (of KISS FM).

This is an event not to be missed at all, previous guests include on-air-presenters from BBC 1Xtra, and Capital Xtra, Jamal Edwards of SBTV, respectable A&R's and music marketing professionals from Island Records, Virgin Records, and Roc Nation Europe and so much more.
