New Video: Fantasia - Without Me ft. Kelly Rowland & Missy Elliott

The females are bringing it with their amazing music videos these days! Janelle Monae, Ciara, Scotty Rebel, and now Fantasia, Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott!

2004 American Idol winner Fantasia has been bringing the heat with her new album ‘Side Effects of You’. And I must say Fantasia has been looking that extra bit hotter - from promo runs to performances, to music videos - Fantasia looks turned up!

Produced by Harmony Samuels (H-Money), ‘Without Me’ is the second single off her fourth studio album with guest appearances from Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.

The video to ‘Without Me’ was premiered on the countdown show 106 & Park yesterday, Fantasia and Kelly bring out a side to them that we don't see often. An attitude that I am loving from Fantasia and of course Missy Elliott gives us her signature 90s style and stamp of approval with her rap.

Fantasia called on photography duo Gomillion and Leupold to capture her vision for this new video!

Fantasia's new album 'Side Effects of You' is looking very ready! Last week the singer debuted her brand new single 'Without Me' featuring the sensational Kelly Rowland and rap queen - Missy Elliott.

This is the follow-up single from Fantasia's single 'Lose to Win' which was produced by Harmony 'H-Money'. 'Without Me' will be released on April 16 with 'Side Effects of You' out on April 23.

UK's very own girl group Little Mix are currently in the States making their debut as they plan on releasing their DNA album in the States on May 28. With an original song of theirs 'How Ya Doin?' already a fan favourite in the UK on their album, Little Mix have enlisted Missy Elliott for their brand new album, the US edition as Missy features on 'How Ya Doin?'.

Missy Elliott drops some hot bars on the reworked De La Soul 1991 classic single 'Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey)' with this En Vogue inspired song.

New Music: Ester Dean - How You Love It ft. Missy Elliott

This is a collabo that I've been waiting for, for a while now! Last year I blogged about how Ester Dean is planning on featuring Missy Elliott on a song and here it is!

Ester Dean who starred in the musical film Pitch Perfect is releasing her debut mixtape this year is also planning on releasing her first studio album 'Story Never Told'.

It feels good to hear Missy Elliott again after she released her two singles '9th Inning' and 'Triple Threat' which both featured Timbaland. Missy Elliott is also planning on releasing her new album 'Block Party' this year.

Producer/Rapper/Singer Timbaland released two unreleased tracks just in time for the new year. Teaming up with the likes of Petey Pablo and Sebastian for 'Redbone' and Lil Wayne, T-Pain and his long time friend Missy Elliott for 'The Party Anthem'.

Missy Elliott: Announces Two New Singles and Release Date

When I first heard that Missy Elliott is releasing two new singles, I screamed for joy. I've missed the Rap Queen!

Missy who hasn't released any of her own official tracks is set to release TWO this month! In a couple of days in fact! Aren't we lucky? Titled: "9th Inning" & "Triple Threat" with long-time friend and Producer, Timbaland!

Missy's album date release is still to be announced, but until then watch out for her new material!

Confirmed: Timbaland & Missy will NOT feature on new Aaliyah album

You'd think even after 11 years someone has left us that their legacy will be put to rest.

This shit is just getting more and more messy. It's been confirmed that the people that shaped and created Aaliyah's sound and career - Timbaland and Missy Elliott won't even be featured on Aaliyah's upcoming posthumous album. Crazy right?

Okay. The record label, Drake and everyone else officially involved in this have lost their damn minds.

Last week Missy tweeted that no one had told her about an Aaliyah album, a couple days after Drake released a new song featuring the late singer's un-released music. Drake who has had no sort of relationship with Aaliyah whilst she was alive, was also announced as the 'executive producer' of the album last week, really?

The record label Aaliyah was signed to 'Blackground', which was established by her Uncle, Barry Hankerson, are apparently planning on releasing un-released Aaliyah music. Still unconfirmed, using the money they make from this album to save the record label and for his artist JoJo. Appalling. But they can never release that as a statement, no matter how polished they try and make it seem.

Mona Scott-Young, Missy Elliott's manager and creator of reality TV show 'Love and Hip Hop' released an official press release to Billboard earlier on today, stating:

“Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate. We’ve seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated.”

Missy added:

“Tim and I carry Aaliyah with us everyday, like so many of the people who love her. She will always live in our hearts. We have nothing but love and respect for her memory and for her loved ones left behind still grieving her loss. They are always in our prayers.”

Personally, they should just SCRAP the whole thing. As a big Aaliyah fan, I just feel like they're messing with the singer's un-released music and using the money for their pockets and not for her name or legacy. How self-centered and selfish of these people.

As much as I would LOVEEEEE to hear un-released/new Aaliyah music, I feel that it should be done the RIGHT way and out of love and respect and for the fans.

Hopefully, they'll hear the cry of the people and not continue with the album. And if they choose to continue with this production, then boy... No nice words for them from me.

New Music: Drake - Enough Said ft. Aaliyah

Drake's latest obsession with late R&B singer is getting a bit more to the left, weird! After getting Aaliyah tattoo's, earpieces etc Drake has released a new song from unreleased Aaliyah music. At least he wants to continue her legacy - so I respect that -  even though he never met her or had any contact with her whilst she was alive.

This new single from Drake featuring Aaliyah is titled 'Enough Said' which I actually quite like in a way, not so much the production and Drake's rapping - just Aaliyah's vocals - I would love to hear more unreleased Aaliyah tracks (without Drake on them).

Twitter went H A M last night when they found out that Drake released this song saying 

"the only people that should 'mess' with Aaliyah's music is Timbaland, Missy Elliott and Aaliyah's older brother" and 

"this is a huge slap in the face to Aaliyah's music team". And of course the one that made me LOL "Drake wanna be Aaliyah so bad". A lot of people felt that Drake was being 'disrespectful'.

The song was produced by Drake's producer '40', no shade to them but I just want to know why Timbaland and Missy Elliott - Aaliyah's long time friends weren't involved in the production? So low of Drake.

The Take Care singer also wants to release an Aaliyah album (-_-) Right, right. Include Timbaland and Missy before you catch more shade and hate on twitter and blogs, thanks.

Wow. Missy Elliot has been off the scene for a hot minute, but fans let me assure you this.. Missy Elliot is back baybe!!! Missy who took a break due to her Graves disease but she is not letting that stop her. 

J.Cole who teamed up with Missy Elliot on this hot track really made a wise decision, especially for his recent debut album "Coleworld" BRRR.. Freezing!!! *shivers* LOL!
