Converse CONS Project London - Journey Through LDN Sounds 002: Bass Culture


Converse CONS have been bringing us here in London an exciting couple of weeks. Keeping up with the momentum they'll be holding a few Journey Through LDN Sounds parties spread throughout the month.

On June 28th Converse CONS kicked off the first Journey Through LDN Sounds party celebrating the best of the UK's Jungle, Drum & Bass and Garage scene with Fabio & Grooverider, Foundation (Sticky & Scott Garcia), Kasra and Zed Bias who were all on the lineup. And picking up from where they left off - July 12th will see them focusing on the UK Bass music talent pushing forward the current sound of London.

On the bill are Hatcha & N-Type, Elijah & Skilliam with D Double E and T. Williams and of course - tickets are free as per usual via conversecons.com/ldn

Converse Announces The Cons Project London and Launch Event With Pusha T, Krept & Konan and Rustie


Today, sees the announcement of the launch of the Converse CONS Project London kicking off this May. Cons Project London will see a programme of music events including a launch party on 29th May with Pusha T, Krept & Konan and Rustie.

Converse announces the launch of CONS Project London, the latest installment in a series of global community projects designed to inspire the next generation of creative spirits through music, art, style and skate. Following on from the success of similar initiatives in New York, Los Angeles and more recently Warsaw and Belgrade, CONS Project London will open in Peckham - one of the city's most up-and-coming creative hubs - from Thursday 22nd May.

To kick off the project, rapper Pusha T will be launching the CONS Project London where he takes to the stage at the official opening party on Thursday 29th May. Pusha T will see support from London rap duo - Krept & Konan, talented Glaswegian producer Rustie and Rinse FM regular Scratcha DVA.

Converse Release ‘Cons EP Vol. 1’ features Harry Fraud, Flatbush Zombies and More!


Converse are doing it all, from the Chuck Taylor's to the Gigs in London's 100 Club to now releasing a brand new EP ‘Cons EP Vol. 1’.

The compilation features original collaborations from both established and emerging artists across various genres.

Created in celebration of the recent re-launch of the Converse CONS sneaker collection, ‘Cons EP Vol. 1’ debuts on the heels of last month’s release of ‘97.92,’ the second single to be featured off the EP by California hardcore punk band, Trash Talk and Brooklyn hip-hop group, Flatbush Zombies. In November 2013, Converse previewed ‘Cons EP Vol. 1’ with the release of ‘Gauchos,’ the debut collaboration by rap collective RATKING and Eric Copeland of electronic music group, Black Dice. 
‘Cons EP Vol. 1’ also showcases new tracks from a roster of CONS Ambassadors including Trash TalkFlatbush ZombiesHarry FraudThe BotsLos Rakas, and The Shrine.
