Last month in London, Fuse ODG joined Wande Coal as a special guest at his free London GTCrea8 show in the IndigO2.

 

Now the UK Afrobeats artist unveils the in studio video to his new track ‘Come Closer’. Still a bit on edge about this song – but I'm sure in due time it'll be a fav on everyone's lips. 

 

Introducing... Ellapaige + New Single ‘Dessert’ ft. Tinchy Stryder (Studio Video)

Introducing a fresh new face and sound to the music industry - Ms Ellapaige!

18-year-old singer songwriter Ellapaige has been waiting in the wings of pop for over a decade, patiently anticipating that moment when the time would be right to take her position in the spotlight. Now finally, with her debut EP ‘Made You Look’ set for release in October, the right time is right now. 

Ellapaige is already a hit online - as she has over 23,000 followers on Twitter, and her mash up video ‘Shine Bright As Long As You Love Me’ hit nearly half a million YouTube views in its first week. From the age of 15, she has also appeared in music videos for Ministry of Sound and EMI, as well as working behind the scenes at The X Factor, styling acts during the One Direction year.

‘Dessert’ is the latest single off her debut EP ‘Made You Look’, following up from the lead single off the project also titled ‘Made You Look’. Ellapaige lets her hair down on the track featuring East London based rapper - Tinchy Stryder.

Ellapaige has a promising future in music, her forthcoming project ‘Made You Look’ is sure to make her name known after it's release on October 28 via iTunes.

Started from the bottom, now we here: Over the weekend Jay-Z hit up the studio with rapper Drake for a possible collaboration on Jay-Z's new album.

New York Dons: Jay-Z also hit up the studio with fellow New Yorker Raekwon. Raekwon put the pic on his Instagram page with the caption:

"Long time coming!!!! Hov x chef ... Much love to my dude Lenny S aka #kodaklens for making it happen!!! #ComingSoon"

Easy Breezy Music: Only God knows what Chris Brown and Jennifer Lopez were cooking up in the studio. Maybe an R&B song for her new album? Or a clubby one? R&B please!

The Future of Music: Yes! Yes! Jennifer Lopez once again hit the studio earlier this year with the future of music - Future himself. This will be an interesting collaboration...

East Coast meets West Coast: It's been a long time coming, long overdue in fact. It's about damn time Nas and Kendrick Lamar got into the studio together. I so look forward to hearing whatever it is that they come up with. Even if it's both of them just saying "hmm" it'll still be a hit! Lmao.

Backs against the wall: Rebellious Rihanna and Wale also got into the studio together. Rihanna posted the pic on her Instagram - this is also a collaboration that has been a long time coming. I know it's only magic that they'll come up with. Rihanna is rumoured to apparently be making an appearance on Wale's third studio album "The Gifted" which is out on June 25.

New Music: MoeLogo - Pangolo (Remix) ft. DRB LasGidi

In March UK based Afrobeat star MoeLogo dropped the official video to his single "Pangolo" which got a lot of radio airplay and buzz all over Africa and UK. Now MoeLogo teams up with trio - DRB LasGidi for the official remix to "Pangolo".

Both MoeLogo and DRB LasGidi all performed at Destination Africa last month in the UK alongside some other big names in the Afrobeats industry - Wande Coal, Lola Rae, Ajebutter22, Dammy Krane and more.

Flicks: Studio Sessions

This month of October is popping! So far, so good!! A lot of artists including Rihanna, Frank Ocean, Alicia Keys and even Gwen Stefani have hit up their local studios to either put the finish touchings to their upcoming albums or singles that they're about to put out. Or even starting a new album!

Frank Ocean has been one of the main people that have hit up the studio a lot this month.

MAGIC: Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams & Jay-Z all took time out of their busy schedules to hit up the studio and even take a picture. With these three in the studio, magic is bound to happen. Can't wait!

BEST OF FRIENDS: Despite all the mess and drama happening on the set of American Idol auditions, Mariah Carey stopped by the studio to work with long-time friend and producer The Dream. 

UNAPOLOGETIC: Rihanna hits up the studio in LA adding the finishing touches to her album "Unapologetic" - out 19th November. It was even rumoured that Rihanna even sent raunchy pics to Chris Brown during one of the sessions. (*sigh). But above it all, Rihanna's swag is crazy!!!

No Doubt just released their brand new album "Push & Shove" and Gwen Stefani is already back in the studio. The singer was spotted in LA heading to a studio in Burbank. 

"Wonder what would happen if u put Luda & M.I.A. In the studio. Hhhmmmmm." is what M.I.A. captioned when she put up this pic of herself and rapper Ludacris in the studio via her instagram.

Well, M.I.A. we'll find out when you and Ludacris put something out for us to hear!!

 

BEST IN THE BUSINESS: As I said above, Frank Ocean is one of the many people that have hit up the studio a lot this month. And most recently, he met up with producer NO I.D. and rapper J.Cole for a studio session. Frank Ocean just seems to be the go-to-go for hot songs this season, and I must say - his songs and songwriting skills are surely incredible. So I see why not!
