Tinashe and ScHoolBoy Q Perform ‘2 On’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

As she celebrates the release of her debut album ‘Aquarius’, last week singer Tinashe stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform her #1 single ‘2 On’.

The ‘Pretend’ singer received some help from rapper ScHoolBoy Q, who joined her on stage, as they performed the R&B track of the summer.

Tinashe and her dancers rocked the stage with hard-core choreography in their blue leather pants, and high ponytail hairstyle, and did everything from twerking to the stanky leg.

On her new album ‘Aquarius’, Tinashe shows us that there's more to her than just ratchet-turn up music, as she lays down her vocals on some single worthy tracks and ballads showing off her lyrical and vocal ability on the LP.

21-year-old Los Angeles based singer Tinashe lights up our screens with this dance heavy music video to ‘2 On’. Last year was an exciting year for the former girl group band member - who dropped her mixtape ‘Black Water’ and continued the success into 2014 with her smoke something single ‘2 On’ featuring TDE rapper - ScHoolboy Q.

Opening the Hannah Lux Davis directed music video with some dance moves later moving onto some hardcore choreography with her girls ahead of a night out, Tinashe is already working on her debut album which will be released via RCA records sometime this year. And has already been in the studio with the likes of Boi-1da, Dev Hynes, T-Minus and Mike WiLL Made It.

Tinashe kept it West Coast all the way, with DJ Mustard who is behind the production of the song, and ScHoolboy Q who lays down a heavy rap verse. Even throughout the video we see Tinashe in rehearsal mode with her girls before hitting an underground club to rock the scene with her impressive fierce choreography and handles the dance floor very well. Oh, and to top it all of - there's a food fight with cake!

As the world awaits the long and highly anticipated debut album from TDE's ScHoolboy Q, hearing him drop a sweet sixteen on this smoking joint - is refreshing.

It feels as if we've been waiting for ScHoolboy Q's debut for a while now. As we wait for the release of that, he has unveils the video to his newest single ‘Collard Greens’ where he calls on TDE label mate - Kendrick Lamar who features on the song.

The video includes a cameo appearance from Macklemore and will appear on ScHoolboy Q's debut album Oxymoron.

This magazine issue goes on sale on April 30 with all four members of Black Hippy keeping it super cool on the cover. No word on what the cover story was about - but we look forward to seeing the full spread.

XXL 2013 Freshman Class Cover Unveiled!

THEY GOT IT RIGHT THIS YEAR!!!! *round of applause for XXL Magazine*

A round of applause is in order for XXL magazine as they have FINALLY got their yearly freshman class list right. Year after year, they seem to get it wrong or miss out on someone but this year, it seems just about accurate. And on top of that they've even added their 11th freshman to the list - Chief Keef. Two of TDE's very own - ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul grace the cover and so does 'All Gold' everything rapper Trinidad James, and of course a female rapper had to join the league of the big dawgs!
