New Music: B_Red - Booty Tinz ft. Kay Switch

After joining label mate and cousin Davido on stage and on the road during his UK tour, B_Red unveils his latest piece of work ‘Booty Tinz’.

‘Booty Tinz’ is one of the first of many new sounds coming from the HKN member, and features Nigerian-based rapper Kay Switch; with production from Cheeky Chizzy.

DB Records/Produkt Republik artiste Kay Switch is back with an all-star remix to the previously released monster for ‘For Example’.

Asides having the talented producer - Deevee on the board, it also features Wizkid and Olamide.

It's been a while since we've heard from Nigerian based rapper Shank. 

Shank who switches up the lyrics to the song a little bit, calls up on some heavy hitters for this exclusive remix. Seun Kuti, Kay Switch, Vector and Davido who all make a guest appearance on the song and in the video, talk about their experiences in the ghetto in their verses. 

Shank and director Patrick Ellis take it to the streets of Lagos to capture the true essence of the ghetto for this video titled ‘Ghetto’. 

New Music: Kay Switch - Bust A Whine ft. Omo Akin

Younger brother to D'Banj collabos with Omo Akin for this Dancehall Afrobeats track "Bust A Whine" which he dropped over the weekend. "Bust A Whine" is off Kay Switch's brand new mixtape Scam 101 which will be out later on in the year. Kay Switch enlisted Omo Akin and Waffiboi to produce this new song.

I won't say much in this blog post - but D'Banj is on a roll - the singer has released three brand new singles off the compilation album 'D'Kings Men' with K-Switch and J-Sol. One of the new songs is actually the remix to D'Banj's single 'Scapegoat', but now features G.O.O.D. Music rapper - Kanye West. Another single is 'Why You Love Me' and the last one is 'Ibadi E (Let It Bounce)' featuring Olamide, Durella and D'Banj's brother/label mate - K-Switch. D'Banj Presents: "D' Kings Men" Album Cover & Tracklist Unveiled

DB Records/Sony Music Africa and G.O.O.D. Music artist - D'Banj unveils his latest project. The 'Bachelor' entertainer is set to release the first album off his record label DB Records - and the first compilation album coming from the team. D'Banj, his brother KaySwitch and British singer J-Sol all feature on this album, with a few feature artists to be announced.

Kay Switch has released the video for 'Sister Caro' which features his brother - D'Banj. Both artists are signed to DB/Sony Africa Records and Kay Switch plans on releasing some more material throughout this year.

New Music: Kid Konnect - The Mashup ft. Kay Switch

I've heard a LOT of 'N*ggas in Paris' remixes/mashups but this one is the most unique one by far.

Award-winning music producer and remix king, Kid Konnect links up with DB records' very own Kay Switch on his brand new single aptly titled 'The Mashup'.

Kid Konnect revamped the Hit-Boy produced song and anthem 'N*ggas in Paris' originally by Kanye West and Jay-Z with a fuji remix to it adding live conga, synths and string arrangements to the hip hop song.

Kid Konnect enlists Kay Switch for this song where the rapper mashes up all his previous hit singles 'Gone Are The Days', 'Sister Caro', 'Go Down Now' and 'Owunmi' - into the song, making the title of the song 'The Mashup' come to life.

He is BIG in the Afrobeat scene already as Kid Konnect has produced for the likes of Banky W, Wizkid, M.I., Brymo, Modenine, eLDee the Don and even the American pop-rap duo Chiddy Bang with a few others to name.

Kid Konnect is venturing further out as a solo-artist to be revered in 2013 with a string of stellar singles featuring some of your favourite artists already lined up - first up is “The Mashup”.
