New Video: Scorcher - No One Else

Labelled as "grown up rap" from a YouTube commentator, the video to Scorcher's, Young Kye-produced single ‘No One Else’, shows us exactly just that.

The melodic and deeper track shows the different range and depth of Scorcher and appears on his new highly anticipated EP ‘1 of 1’ released last week.

The video to ‘No One Else’ is an innovative and impressive one, with an edgy and artistic feel. The video captures the deep emotion of the track through the use of various backdrops, lighting and images.

Young Kye provides a powerful and harmonious beat which matches the tone and message of the track, while Scorcher delivers a grown up track with lyrics about a relationship showing the emcee’s depth as a person as well as a lyricist, a far cry from the more energetic first release ‘Work Get It’.

New Music: Scorcher - No One Else

From giving us a more upbeat number with ‘Work Get It’, Scorcher slows things down for us with ‘No One Else’ on his new Young Kye-produced single. 

The melodic and deeper track shows the different range and depth of Scorcher and will be released on November 17, and then the release of his highly anticipated EP ‘1 of 1’ to follow a week later.

Setting a solid foundation for ‘1 of 1’ with his previously released ‘Work Get It’ featuring Merctson and Wretch 32, and new release ‘No One Else’, it's clear to say that Scorcher's hiatus from music has only made him come back bigger, better and hungrier. And we can definitely hear that in his new music.

To celebrate the launch of ‘1 of 1’, Scorcher headline at the renowned Jazz Café with a live band as he'll wow fans and friends with a live sample of the EP in an evening set to be packed full of guest appearances and entertainment. ‘1 of 1’ will see it's release on November 24, tickets for Scorcher's EP launch with a full live band are on sale here.

New Video: Scorcher - Work Get It ft. Wretch 32, Mercston & Ari

Three of UK's most talented MC's, and Ari join together again for Scorcher's ‘Work Get It’. The Wretch 32 and Mercston assisted track which premiered back in May on the Mistajam show, is the first track to be heard off Scorcher's forthcoming EP ‘1 of 1’.

Speaking on his upcoming 9-track EP, Scorcher said: "I'm trying to make music people can live with - more than just music for the club, radio or car. I'm trying to bring people into my world be a part of it, like IMAX."

And look who's baaaack?!

For a while I didn't think Scorcher would actually make a return to the music scene after he embarked on his new journey of acting. 

Hailed as one the UK's leading Grime emcees, the actor and award-winning producer has reappeared with his brand new track ‘Work Get It’, produced by TSB. Scorcher, does it big as he comes with an allstar lineup of Wretch 32, Mercston and singer Ari who delivers with a catchy hook on the song.

‘Work Get It’ is the first single from his forthcoming EP, and is his latest release since his third edition of ‘Simply The Best’ mixtape collection - back in 2012.

Speaking on his new music and forthcoming 9-track EP, Scorcher said:
"I'm trying to make music people can live with more than just music for the club, radio or car. I'm trying to bring people into my world and be part of it, like IMAX."

After getting premiered on BBC Radio 1Xtra's Mistajam show - fans have been left with a taste of what's to come from Scorcher and his new EP. ‘Work Get It’ will be released on June 22 as part of his brand new EP.

Another month, another ‘The Drop’ event taking place.

This time it consists of Scorcher, Jordan Morris, Jamilah and Noeva who will all grace the stage London's Proud Camden.

The Search is the most important part of all; producers and songwriters will have the chance to submit demos for the projects of those 4 artists each month. New Video: Amy Steele - All The Same ft. Scorcher & Fugative

It's no secret that I am a fan of Amy Steele. Earlier this year, the London based singer released her brand new single 'All The Same' which featured TWO of LA's finest - The Game and Kevin McCall.

Now Amy Steele has a London remix to the song with features from rappers - Scorcher and Fugative, produced by Starboy Nathan of X Factor.

All of the UK stars feature in the video, which was filmed on location at the famous Real World Studios in Wiltshire. The breath-taking residential studio has been the recording home of artists such as Beyoncé, Jay Z, Kanye West and Tom Jones in recent years, so Amy and the crew were following the footsteps of esteemed company.

This is the first official video from Amy Steele and of course like a true singer - she delivers alongside with the rest of the other artists in it.

Amy's debut album is to be released later on this year will feature Mario and Bei Maejor as well as The Game and Kevin McCall. And production from The Monsters & The Strangers and The Futuristiks. So much is expected from Amy’s full-length release. Watch this space as a star is born!
