Kyra follows up on her new heartfelt record ‘Bandages’, with the the official video. ‘Bandages’ is a song written when Kyra faced a personal tragedy, losing her brother, who had just turned 26 to cancer.

‘Bandages’ a song written for her brother at a time when she believed that he would live, still brings Kyra comfort and hopes it can bring other people a sense of hope, whenever they're facing their own tragedies.

‘Bandages’ is taken from Kyra's highly anticipated debut 4-track-EP of the same name.

Kyra, reveals her new record ‘Bandages’, taken from her highly anticipated debut 4 track EP of the same name.

‘Bandages’ is a song written when Kyra faced a personal tragedy back in 2012, losing her brother, who had just turned 26 to cancer. The time from diagnosis to death was just 3 months. Out of this time of sadness Kyra vented in the way she knew best, through songwriting and the ‘Bandages EP’ was born.

"Bandages was written for my brother at a time when I believed he would live. It brought him and everyone that heard it hope. Although we sadly lost him, the song still brings me comfort, and I hope it can bring other people a sense of hope." - Kyra

Co-written by Maiday and Fred Cox, the signature track taken from the ‘Bandages EP’ is a beautiful tale of comfort and hope in times of despair.

It's been a minute since we've heard from singer-songwriter Kyra, but the London based songstress is back with her new release ‘Ell Oh Vee Eeh’.

Taken from her forthcoming debut 4-track-EP ‘Bandages’, ‘Ell Oh Vee Eeh’ is an energetic record that shows Kyra's vocal and lyrical growth since her 2012 debut ‘Good Love’.

Not shying away from the fact that she's in love on ‘Ell Oh Vee Eeh’, Kyra sings about a love that takes her to the sky and where she lives among the galaxies; an exciting kind of love, a real love.

The UK music scene always does it BIG no matter whether it's a male or female that debut their single. Kyra who supported Wretch 32 on his tour, had a breakthrough year and released her track 'Good Love' (featuring Cashtastic) is back again in the new year with a lyric video for her new single 'Next Year'.

Singing about New Years resolutions that we all make, but never seem to fulfil on top of the Tré Jean Marie produced beat, Kyra will release 'Next Year' for free download on January 28 - a song that we can all relate to.

Kyra had an amazing 2012 as she burst onto the scene in the Summer of that year with her single 'Good Love' being released under Renowned Records (Wretch 32/Xyzee Music) - a feel good summer track which her soulful vocals complimented the song and the weather really well.

Not only that but Kyra shared the stage with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Labrinth, Rita Ora, Wretch 32 who she all opened up for. Kyra has been working hard in the studio since then, working with some of the UK's renowned hit makers and writers such as Ben Harrison (Emeli Sandé) and Sunny (Professor Green) all in preparation of her first EP which she plans on release in March of this year.
