New Video: Elli Ingram - When It Was Dark

After capturing our attention in 2013 with debut EP ‘Sober’, our one to watch Elli Ingram is back kicking off 2014 with a brand new music video to ‘When It Was Dark’.

Set in a church ‘When It Was Dark’ was directed by Emil Nava and produced by her producer - Felix Joseph, who produced a few tracks off her EP including ‘Sober’, ‘Mad Love’ and ‘Poetic Justice (Refix)’ alongside Aston Rudi.

‘When It Was Dark’ is the first release from Ingram since her signing to Island Records, and we're definitely going to see more to come from the 19-year-old singer.

Elli Ingram will be headlining her own shows this February, at the Bermuda Triangle in Brighton on Tuesday, 11 February (tickets here) and at The Old Queens Head in London on Wednesday, 12 February (tickets here).

Elli Ingram's lead single ‘Mad Love’ has been receiving exactly just that. Within the last month the single has touched just under 30,000 plays and is one of the most popular songs off Elli Ingram's debut EP - Sober.

19-year-old Elli calls on heavy-weight music director Emil Nava who has worked with the likes of Calvin Harris, Jessie J, Rita Ora, and Ed Sheeran and many more.

The visuals to ‘Mad Love’ are soulful and jazzy just like the track and sees Elli sharing her honest and unabashed lyrical content with the world. Just as the lyrics says ‘I'm not like most girls’ - Elli shows exactly just that. This video is one of the most unique videos I've seen in a long time with a very different story line.

Over the weekend Elli Ingram was part of the many people that shut it down on the Glastonbury stage alongside Chase & Status. And today sees the release of Elli Ingram's debut EP 'Sober' which was premiered via Hunger Magazine earlier today.

Elli Ingram singsss on this 6-track-EP and includes her tracks ‘Mad Love’, ‘Fun’, ‘Sober’ as well as her ‘Poetic Justive’ refix which put her on the map and gained over 400,000 combined online hits. Two never before heard tracks ‘Elliot’ and ‘High Love’ also complete the EP.

‘Sober’ EP is produced by Felix Joseph and Aston Rudi and was debuted just in time for Summer and is sure to be on replay throughout the whole season and year. Elli Ingram has already kick-started off the year in every right way possible and 2013 is looking like a very promising year for the 19-year-old.

New Music: Elli Ingram - Mad Love

July 1st sees the release of Elli Ingram's highly anticipated EP 'Sober', but before then the Brighton native unveils her new track "Mad Love".

Elli Ingram hit up the studio with her producers Felix Joseph and Aston Rudi for this new mind blowing record. The 19-year-old talented singer covered Kendrick Lamar's "Poetic Justice" off his good kid, m.A.A.d city album and shook up the music industry reaching over 300,000 YouTube views and over 140,000 plays on Soundcloud.

The soul-singer will headline her own show in London on July 16 at Servant Jazz Quarters, exactly two weeks after the release of her EP!

"Sober" will be released on July 1st via MTA Records.
