Mazi Chukz features Maleek Berry on New Release: ‘Dem Hail’

It's been a while since we've heard from Mazi Chukz after he released ‘SOS’ featuring Baseman and Ezi Emela last year. 

After a short hiatus, Mazi kicks off 2016 with his latest release ‘Dem Hail’, produced and featuring Maleek Berry of Wizkid's Starboy Entertainment and Berry's Room.

‘Dem Hail’ is Mazi's first single off his forthcoming EP and will detail his experiences he has faced in the music industry, as well as growing up into a man.

The new record hears Mazi and Maleek sing about shutting down the scene, and being hailed whenever they come around. The video for ‘Dem Hail’ will be released shortly, until then... listen to the new track below.

New Music: Mazi Chukz - Ifunanya

Mazi for the ladies teams up with super producer Maleek Berry for his new single ‘Ifunanya’, his first release under his new record label - Krystal City.

Mazi Chukz comes out of his comfort zone with this new single and gives us a different sound that we're not usually used to from him. The catchy and upbeat single is the follow-up to Mazi's ‘One In A Million’ released earlier this year and received support from the likes of BBC 1Xtra to name a few. 

Recently he shared the stage with Tiwa Savage, Diamond and Davido at the 2014 Africa Unplugged which got a lot of people buzzing with interest and asking themselves "who is Mazi Chukz?" And of course had the ladies excited to see a new handsome face on the UK Afrobeats scene.

‘Ifunanya’ sees Mazi who just celebrated his birthday on Monday, sing in both Yoruba and Igbo with English, mixing the best of both worlds together for what is hoped to be his breakthrough single - which only time will tell, of course.

New Video: Saeon - Boogie Down ft. Wizkid

Another Maleek Berry produced banger at our finger tips, this time for female artist - Saeon signed to Baseline Music.

Switching things up from the normal Afrobeat music videos these days - Saeon unveils her creative side with video director Sesan for her single ‘Boogie Down’ featuring Wizkid. The video comes shortly after she released the single back in February and has a burlesque theme to it from the choreography to the costumes and even down to the venue for her grand burlesque performance.

The video to ‘Boogie Down’ fairly reminds me of certain scenes from the 1976 film ‘Bugsy Malone’, with Saeon being ‘Tallulah’ and Wizkid being ‘Bugsy’. Saeon, Wizkid and Sesan just took me back to my childhood for a hot second.

New Music: Wande Coal - Plan B (Prod. by Maleek Berry)

Amazing artist Wande Coal gives us a little something something for us to enjoy just ahead of Valentines Day.

Maleek Berry produced and co-wrote the new song ‘Plan B’ which sounds somewhat like an old school R&B song (late 90's, early 00's era of music. You know when R&B music was REAL good). 

‘Plan B’ is all about boyfriend number 2 - the lyrics, production everything was all beautifully put together, a song that I'm sure quite a few people can relate to. And sees the Black Diamond of Africa sing so effortlessly, this song is just beautiful.

[What Maleek needs to do next is to write a song about Plan A, teaching some of us how to get a man and then we can put ‘Plan B’ into full effect when things aren't going our way. LOL!]

New Music: Wande Coal - Kilaju

Wande Coal and Maleek Berry have great chemistry whenever they get into the studio together, always bringing out the music that we want to hear and enjoy. Earlier this year the duo gave us ‘My Way’, and now pop up with ‘Kilaju’ yesterday. Even though the unmastered version of the song leaked online yesterday, Wande Coal decided to give us the official version.

As we await for the release of Wande Coal's sophomore album, ‘Kilaju’ along with ‘The Kick’ and ‘Rotate’ are songs just to keep us satisfied until it's debut. ‘Kilaju’ was released under Wande Coal's imprint Black Diamond Entertainment.

Maleek Berry: New Music - ‘New Bounce’ ft. Wizkid & Phenom + Berry's Room (Episode 1)

Maleek Berry is making his mark in the music industry in both the UK and Africa with his constant bangers. Mr Berry recently dropped ‘Love You’ featuring Wizkid, the follow-up track to  ‘The Matter’ and has now unveiled his latest piece of work ‘New Bounce’ with guest appearances from Wizkid and rapper Phenom.

Wizkid is on the hook with catchy lyrics and Phenom drops a few bars to complete it.

Maleek Berry has also debuted his online web series ‘Berry's Room’ with the first episode. This new web series just gives us a little more insight into what Maleek Berry's day-to-day life is like, find out a bit more about the fast rising producer and what he likes to get up to when he's not producing music below!

New Video: Ikes - Let It Go

Ikes unveils the video to "Let It Go" off his "The Intermission - Sliding Doors" mixtape which he released back in November.

The new single was produced by Maleek Berry who has worked with Ikes previously on a number of singles "Warrior", "The Game's Back" and "GirlTalk" featuring Jermaine Riley and Scorcher.

Yesterday, Star Boy producer Maleek Berry dropped a new track "Love You" featuring Wizkid. A follow-up track from their amazing club banger "The Matter". I loved this song instantly, and of course Maleek Berry done this thing on this track once again alongside Wizkid.

Maleek Berry: 'A New Era' - The Documentary

A year of great things are ahead for producer Maleek Berry, the producer who has produced a handful of hot tracks already this year, has teamed up with Olan Collardy for this short documentary.

There's been a buzz around Maleek Berry for a while now, and a lot of people have been asking "who is this Maleek Berry guy?" Or "where did Maleek Berry rise up from?", now he sets the record straight in this 11-minute-documentary, having a slight insight into his world.

I've known Maleek for a while now and his work ethic is like no other, watch as Maleek Berry talks about how he got started in the music industry, present and future projects in the 'A New Era' below.

New Music: Wizkid - Lagos 2 Soweto

Maleek Berry is on a roll this year and he is making his name known to everybody! Working with Wizkid on this new track 'Lagos 2 Soweto'.

The Starboy is currently recording his 'Starboy' Mixtape out here in London, and is planning on releasing his first mixtape in April and his sophomore album sometime at the end of the year or in 2014, following his 2011 'Superstar' release.

I don't know about you, but Maleek Berry is definitely the producer to look out for this year. Now teaming up with Mavin artist Wande Coal for this new single 'My Way', I knew this song was a hit the minute I heard the beat.

Watch out for Mr. Berry though, I know this guys got some more crazy hits for us up his sleeve somewhere.
