JoJo's move to Atlantic Records may be the best one she's made yet (reported here) - because this new mixtape she has put out yesterday is giving me life and then some.

A few weeks ago JoJo signed to Atlantic Records after being a messy situation with a record label for so long - that were holding her from releasing new music. Yesterday, saw the release of a new mixtape from JoJo titled ‘#LoveJo’ and it is amazing!

JoJo covers three of the best songs ever - Anita Baker's ‘Caught Up in The Rapture’, Phil Collins ‘Take Me Home’ and Kathleen Battle's ‘Oh Glory’. 

‘Glory’ will make somebody cry and take it to church in the 3 minute 57 seconds that she slayed! She probably even saved a life on that track, and she ain't even know it!

‘#LoveJo’ is available for FREE download, and is a special treat from JoJo to her fans. Let me know what your favourite cover from JoJo is.

JoJo Signs Deal with Atlantic Records, (Finally) Released From Blackground!

The angels are singing! I don't know what song, but they're singing alright!

Singer JoJo has finally been released from Blackground records. For those who know, JoJo had been in a constant battle with the record label and has now been released from her contract after the long fight. After filing a lawsuit from the record label who is owned by Barry Hankerson (uncle to the late Aaliyah), in July - JoJo has finally won! At one point JoJo even revealed to the world in an interview with MaximoTV stating "I don't own my voice", that's how deep it got!

Well now, according to the good folks over at LA Times, it reports that JoJo has been released from the messy situation and has now signed to Atlantic Records (back in December 2013) - where she'll release her third studio album later this year.

JoJo's loyal fans stuck with her throughout the whole battle and even took to twitter to campaign for her release from the label. And I'm sure they're more than over the moon for her victory!

After having a bumpy 2013 - 2014 is looking up for the ‘Andre’ singer will also star in a new high school comedy titled ‘G.B.F.’ out this coming Friday in the States.

Congratulations to JoJo for WINNING! #SheWon! Great news to start 2014! Now if we could just get that music...

New Video: JoJo - Andre

I absolutely love this new video from JoJo.The 22-year-old singer released her mixtape Agápē in December of last year, and off the mixtape comes a song titled 'Andre' in honour of Andre 3000.

The video follows JoJo's very own Andre who has the elements of Andre 3000 from his style with the boots and the hat, to his love for art. And premiering his artwork at the art gallery.

The Embryo-directed-video features cameo appearances from JoJo's beautiful girlfriends - Leah LaBelle, Karina Pasian, Denise Janae and even her dog Agápē.

This is one of the best videos that I've seen this year so far. The video compliments the song so well, JoJo and her team really put in the work in this video.

New Mixtape: JoJo - Agápé

Happy Birthday JoJo!!!

JoJo who celebrates her birthday today, age 22 has released her new mixtape Agápé today. Even though I managed to hear the mixtape two days ago, thanks to Complex - it was still worth the wait either way. The mixtape features songs like 'We Get By' and 'Andre'.

The three songs that I'm diggin' are: 'Back2thebeginningagain', 'Billions' and 'Thinking Out Loud'.

2013 is looking like a promising year for the birthday girl!

JoJo: 'Agápé' Mixtape Tracklist

Singer JoJo has released the official tracklist for her upcoming mixtape 'Agápé'. JoJo is schedule to release the mixtape on the 20th December, that date also marks her 22nd birthday. 

The mixtape features her two songs 'We Get By' and 'Andre' which she has already released.

New Music: JoJo - Andre

Agápé mixtape from JoJo drops sometime in December - until then, JoJo has released a new song titled "Andre". I automatically thought of Andre 3000 when I saw the title of this song, then I found out the song was inspired by Andre 3000's 2003 album The Love Below (great album btw).

JoJo: Announces New Mixtape & Releases New Music

JoJo babygurl it's been a while...

JoJo whose album we've seen no trace of is planning on releasing a new mixtape next month (December 20th) titled Agápé. The title of the free project is the name of the puppy she adopted a while back as well as the meaning "unconditional love" in Greek.

JoJo has also released a new song "We Get By" which I'm guessing is off Agápé - JoJo's still got it, listen to the fiery techno song.
