Coastal Cities have dropped a brand new haunting ‘Entropic’ remix, constructed by Dorian & The Dawn Riders. ‘Entropic’ has been pulverised, the distorted repeated vocal the focal point, whilst whispers of more vocals echo on top of a spine-chilling backing track.
The ‘Entropic/Nothing Ever Changes’ Double A Side is out this week on Itunes. The video for ‘Entropic’ can be viewed here.
The forthcoming double A side single from Coastal Cities is due for release this Sunday 2nd June, in the meantime French duo Juveniles have put their own twist on ‘Entropic’ which they have decided to give away as a free download.
Juveniles have reworked Coastal Cities classic indie sound into a house fuelled remix filled with pounding basslines and circling vocal loops.
"Nothing Ever Changes", is the second track from Coastal Cities' forthcoming double A side single 'Entropic/Nothing Ever Changes', to be released through One Upon A Time Records on 3rd June 2013. The one-vocal line chorus and prominent synth lines of 'Nothing Ever Changes', bolstered by some very neat duet guitar work, show that Coastal Cities don't just write songs, but write future festival classics. You can see why they couldn't choose an A side for the single and went with the double.
The video for 'Nothing Ever Changes' is a minimal, slick and highly produced prodduct that really portrays the ban's exceedingly sharp look.
